kia sportage vs seltos 2023

The 2023 Kia Sportage is the larger, more polished family SUV; the 2023 Seltos is the tidier, better-value city runabout.

• Sportage pros: bigger cabin and boot, stronger engine options (including a torquey diesel), cushier ride, and more tech in upper trims.
• Sportage cons: higher price, thirstier in petrol guise, and a bigger footprint to park.
• Seltos pros: sharper pricing, easy to park, updated 1.6‑turbo with an 8‑speed auto in 2023, plus a frugal 2.0L for commuters.
• Seltos cons: smaller back seat and boot, a bit more road noise, and fewer premium touches.

Choose based on space and grunt (Sportage) or budget and city manners (Seltos); either way you get Kia’s long warranty and modern safety kit.
