kias getting a ute Page 67

Yes—Kia is bringing a ute, and Australia’s on the VIP list.

It’s called the Kia Tasman, a ladder-frame dual-cab aimed squarely at Ranger and HiLux buyers, with local testing already spotted.

Kia has confirmed the program, with first arrivals expected around 2025–2026, though final specs and pricing remain under wraps.

About time, really—Kia’s been circling this paddock for years.

Expect the usual dual-cab essentials—4x4 variants, diesel power and serious towing/payload capability—but wait for the official numbers before you start bench-racing.

Consult official documentation for exact figures.
