KINTO is Toyota’s own car-subscription and short-term hire setup in Australia, perfect if you want a Corolla today and not a lifetime commitment. It’s refreshingly simple: one monthly or daily fee typically covers insurance, servicing, and registration—you just feed it fuel and try not to kerb the alloys. The fleet is, unsurprisingly, Toyota-heavy (Corolla, RAV4, HiLux, hybrids), which means reliable and sensible rather than flashy and Italian. Downsides? Kilometre caps, excess charges, and location availability can rain on the parade, and heavy drivers may find traditional ownership cheaper over time. But if you want flexibility, warranty-backed cars, and the option to sample a hybrid without a five-year plan, KINTO does exactly what it says on the tin—without weird fine print acrobatics.
