kluger 2023 review Page 2

The 2023 Toyota Kluger remains the reliable, if somewhat uninspired, family SUV you know and tolerate. It boasts a 3.5-litre V6 engine producing 218 kW, paired with an eight-speed automatic, delivering a smooth yet unexciting drive. Inside, there's seven-seat capacity, a spacious cabin, and a touchscreen infotainment system—though tech enthusiasts might find it a tad dated. Fuel economy sits around 10.7 L/100km combined, which is palatable for its size. Safety? Plenty of airbags and Toyota Safety Sense as standard, because you’d want to keep your brood intact. Pricing starts at about $52,000 AUD new, while used models from recent years hover between $35,000 and $45,000 AUD.
