kluger towing capacity 2022 Page 6

The 2022 Toyota Kluger will tow up to 2,000 kg braked and 750 kg unbraked, with a typical towball downforce around 200 kg depending on variant and kit. Whether you’ve got the V6 petrol or the hybrid, the rated braked limit is the same in Australia. Fit the proper tow pack, keep your GVM/GCM in check, and don’t forget a weight distribution hitch if you’re hauling the family palace. If you’re tackling hills in summer, a trans/engine cooler and sensible loading are your new best mates. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
