"KZN165R" refers to the late-’90s/early-’00s Toyota HiLux 4x4 running the trusty 1KZ-TE 3.0‑litre turbo‑diesel. Australian models typically made around 85 kW and 315 Nm, backed by a 5‑speed manual (part‑time 4WD with low range) and independent front suspension. You’ll find it in single, extra and dual-cab bodies, with the usual one‑tonne work ethic and a cabin that laughs in the face of hose‑downs. It’s not fast, but it’ll lug up a fire trail like a billy goat with a mortgage. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
