ldv mega tub review Page 2

The LDV Mega Tub is a bold attempt at marrying the utility of a ute with the practicality of a van, but does it succeed? Its 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine offers a respectable 110 kW and 375 Nm of torque, which is decent for hauling your gear or a trailer. Inside, it’s utilitarian, with a no-nonsense cabin that prioritises function over flair. The massive tub at the back is the real star, offering more cargo space than most rivals, perfect for tradies or weekend warriors. However, the ride can feel a bit truckish, and the fuel economy isn’t going to win any awards. Check out CarShowroom or Tradingpost for used and new prices to see if the Mega Tub fits your budget and needs.
