ldv service cost Page 23

As LDV service costs go, they’re more ‘sensible shoes’ than ‘sting in the tail’, but do budget smartly.

For most models, a minor logbook service at a dealer typically lands around $300–$500, while a major (fluids, filters, inspections) is usually $600–$1,000; independent specialists can trim that by 10–25%.

Expect extras like brake fluid every 2 years ($100–$150), coolant or transmission services at set intervals ($300–$500), and diesels may add a fuel filter each time.

Intervals are generally every 12 months or 10–15,000 km, but your logbook and VIN-specific quote will tell the truth—ask the dealer for a written menu price before handing over the keys.

Keep receipts and stick to the schedule to preserve warranty; Australian Consumer Law doesn’t force you to use the dealer, just a qualified workshop using parts that meet OEM spec.
