If your LDV T60’s touchscreen has decided to imitate a brick, start with the basics: cycle the ignition, then hold the unit’s power/home button for 10–15 seconds to force a soft reset.
Check screen brightness/dimmer, try unplugging phones (Android Auto/CarPlay can crash the head unit), and if it’s still frozen, pull the infotainment fuse or disconnect the battery for 5–10 minutes to hard‑reset (mind radio presets and windows relearn).
Next step is software: dealers can update firmware and replace flaky modules under warranty; low battery voltage or dodgy earths can also make the system go haywire.
If the screen stays black in reverse or after rain, suspect a camera or loom fault rather than the screen itself.
