ldv t60 vs ssangyong musso Page 2

Both are value-packed utes with big egos: the LDV T60 swings hard on grunt, while the SsangYong Musso plays the comfy, capable all‑rounder.

The T60 Max’s 2.0‑litre bi‑turbo diesel makes 160 kW/500 Nm with about 3000 kg braked towing; the Musso’s 2.2‑litre diesel makes 133 kW/420 Nm (auto) and claims 3500 kg towing.

Pricing stays sharp for both in Australia, and you’ll find plenty on Tradingpost if you like your bargains with a hint of dust.

Pick based on how you actually use it, not how heroic your camping stories sound.

• Pros: strong outputs, generous kit for the money, tough stance
• Cons: ride can feel busy unladen, towing limit lower than some rivals, cabin fit/finish is improving but still mixed

• Pros: comfy coil‑sprung rear, 3500 kg tow claim, decent refinement and long warranty
• Cons: less outright shove, shorter dealer network, some trims’ payload trails leaf‑spring rivals
