ldv vs gwm vs musso Page 40

LDV T60 Max: pros—keen pricing, punchy diesel and long warranty; cons—ride refinement and safety-tech polish still trail the class leaders. GWM Ute (Cannon): pros—feature-packed cabin, comfy road manners and a strong 7-year warranty; cons—engine can feel breathless when loaded and towing/packaging compromises show up on big trips.

SsangYong Musso (and XLV): pros—impressive towing credentials, comfy seats and solid value; cons—shorter tub on the standard model and infotainment that’s more last decade than next. Ownership reality: LDV and GWM have fast-growing dealer networks; SsangYong’s is smaller but loyal.

All three save serious coin versus Ranger/Hilux, so buy to your brief—towing needs, tray length and daily comfort—rather than badge bravado.
