The 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans marked the centenary and the first proper Hypercar free-for-all.

Headliners included the Ferrari 499P (overall winner in car #51), Toyota GR010 Hybrid, Porsche 963, Cadillac V-Series.R, Peugeot 9X8 and the Glickenhaus 007 LMH.

Behind them, LMP2 was a sea of Oreca 07-Gibsons, while GTE Am fielded Ferrari 488 GTE, Porsche 911 RSR-19, Aston Martin Vantage AMR and a Corvette C8.R.

It was a manufacturer roll-call longer than a Bunnings receipt, and the racing actually matched the hype.

Ferrari’s triumph was its first outright Le Mans win since 1965—yes, that’s a long coffee break.
