learner driver hours victoria Page 39

In Victoria, if you’re under 21 you must log 120 hours of supervised driving, including 20 hours at night, before going for the drive test. If you’re 21 or older, there’s no mandatory logbook total, but practice isn’t exactly overrated. Record drives in the myLearners app or the paper logbook, and make sure supervisors hold a full licence—yes, mum counts if she’s legal and brave. Those hours are separate from the minimum time you must hold your Ls, so no, you can’t speedrun your way to Ps like a dodgy dash to Macca’s. Do the Hazard Perception Test, book the drive when you’re genuinely ready, and turn up in a roadworthy chariot that isn’t held together by hope and cable ties.
