learner licence qld Page 2

Ah, the coveted Learner Licence in Queensland—your first step to mastering the art of not crashing. To snag this, you must be at least 16 years old, pass a written road rules test, and have your eyes checked. The licence lets you drive with a fully licensed supervisor, but no sneaky solo joyrides yet.

Fees hover around $40-$70 AUD, and the test is available at ServiceCentral centres. Remember, you need to hold the learner licence for at least 12 months before graduating to a provisional licence, unless you’re over 25, then it's only 3 months.

For detailed rules and practice tests, CarShowroom and Tradingpost occasionally have learner resources, but the official Queensland Government website is your best mate.
