leather hero reviews Page 8

Ah, leather heroes—those seductive, rugged steeds of the two-wheeled world that promise thrills and spills wrapped in supple hides. Reviews often praise their premium leather quality, styling that screams vintage charm, and surprisingly durable build. However, leather heroes can be as temperamental as a cat in a bathtub when it comes to weather resistance and maintenance—expect to spend a fair bit on conditioning and care.

Common grumbles include:

• Prone to cracking if not treated regularly
• Heavy compared to synthetic alternatives
• Can be pricey, both new and second-hand

Prices for new leather hero gear can range from a modest AUD 300 up to a wallet-busting AUD 1500, with used options lurking on Tradingpost or CarShowroom for less. Always check the fit and condition meticulously—nothing ruins a ride like chafing or a jacket that smells like your granddad’s attic.
