markets on mornington peninsula Page 67

Hunting markets on the Mornington Peninsula? You’re spoiled for choice and mildly at risk of coming home with artisanal chutney and a handmade lamp. The standouts are Mornington Main Street Market (Wednesdays year-round), Mornington Racecourse Market (monthly), Red Hill Community Market (seasonal), and Emu Plains Market in Balnarring (summer months). Expect local produce, crafty wares, and coffee strong enough to wake a hibernating wombat. Arrive early for parking, bring some cash for the stubborn stalls, and always check dates—these beauties don’t all run every week.
