mazda 3 2023 review Page 3

The 2023 Mazda 3 is the small car that feels premium without billing you like one. On the road it’s keen and polished, with steering that’s got more feel than most rivals and a ride that stays civil on Aussie bitumen. Engines are 2.0L or 2.5L petrol with a 6-speed auto; expect ~6–7 L/100km combined. Practicality is fine: the hatch offers 295 L while the sedan gives you 444 L, and safety is covered by ANCAP 5 stars (2019). Infotainment is classy but a bit button‑twiddly—an 8.8-inch screen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. New in 2023 ranged roughly AUD 30k–45k before on-roads; used 2023s typically sit around AUD 25k–40k depending trim and kilometres. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
