Cut through the brochure fluff: the Mazda CX-30 in Australia is all about picking an engine, a drivetrain, and a trim that suits your ego and your driveway.

Engines include a 2.0L (~114 kW/200 Nm), a stronger 2.5L (~139 kW/252 Nm), and a light-hybrid 2.0; a 6‑speed automatic is the norm and AWD is available mainly on 2.5 grades.

The trim ladder typically runs Pure → Evolve → Touring/Carbon Edition or SP → Astina, with bigger wheels, nicer trim and more safety as you climb.

Manuals are rare museum pieces from earlier years; most cars you’ll actually find are auto, and the fancy driver aids pop up as a Vision Technology pack or standard higher up.

Consult official documentation for exact figures.
