In Melbourne, a new Mazda CX-5 typically drives away from about AUD $36,000 for a Maxx (FWD) to roughly $60,000 for a top-spec turbo AWD, depending on offers.
Used CX-5s around town range from roughly $15,000–$25,000 for earlier high‑km cars to about $32,000–$45,000 for late‑model, low‑km GT SP/Akera examples.
The trim walk runs Maxx, Maxx Sport, Touring, GT SP and Akera, and the price follows like a kelpie chasing a ute.
On-road costs and dealer delivery vary across VIC, so the same car can be cheaper two suburbs over.
