mazda cx-5 vs toyota rav4 2023 Page 4

Two family SUVs enter, neither needs a trophy because both will happily cart kids, dogs, and a week’s shopping across suburbia without drama.

• Mazda CX-5: Pros — premium-feeling cabin, sharp handling, and an available turbo petrol that actually feels awake; Cons — smaller boot and rear space, higher fuel use, and no hybrid in sight.
• Toyota RAV4 (2023): Pros — big cabin and boot, frugal Hybrid sipping in the low-5s L/100km and ironclad resale; Cons — cabin feels less plush, CVT can drone when hustled, and wait times can test your zen.

Pick based on priorities: CX-5 for polish and drive feel, RAV4 for space and economy; either way, your school run just got easier.
