mazda cx9 dash lights Page 3

Seeing Mazda CX-9 dash lights put on a disco? Here’s the cheat sheet before you panic-eat a servo pie.

Red warnings (oil pressure, overheating, brake) mean stop now and switch off; keep driving and you’re auditioning for “engine confetti”. Amber icons (check engine, ABS/traction, tyre pressure, battery) usually mean drive gently and get it scanned soon. A flashing check‑engine light is a misfire—treat it like a red light and pull over. If you’re unsure, scan it with an OBD‑II reader, check the owner’s manual, and call roadside assist before the car writes its own dramatic ending.
