mazda cx 30 2023 review australia Page 2

The 2023 Mazda CX-30 is the small SUV that thinks it’s a boutique suit—smart, tidy, and not trying too hard.

Engines are a 2.0L (about 114 kW/200 Nm) or 2.5L (about 139 kW/252 Nm) with a 6-speed auto, FWD or AWD; expect around 6.5–7.6 L/100km in the real world.

It steers sweetly and rides firm-but-fair, the kind of chassis that makes roundabouts mildly entertaining.

Inside feels premium for the class, with solid materials, clear ergonomics, and proper knobs for things you actually touch; back seat and boot aren’t cavernous, so bring realistic expectations.

Safety is strong with a 5-star ANCAP (tested 2019) and the usual active aids.

Pricing in Australia spans roughly $30k–$47k before on-road costs; luxury vibes without luxury servicing bills—consult official documentation for exact figures.
