mazda cx 3 review 2023 Page 7

The 2023 Mazda CX-3 is the pint-sized SUV for people who still like corners, not just cup holders.

The 2.0-litre petrol with a 6-speed auto is zippy around town and will sip roughly 6–7 L/100 km if you’re not reenacting Bathurst.

Cabin quality is schmick, space isn’t; the back row is tight and the boot’s about 264 L, so think groceries, not Great Migration.

Tech is solid with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and AEB on most grades, though some driver assists depend on trim, and the ride gets fidgety on bigger wheels.

If you value sharp steering and tidy handling over stretch-out room, it’s a charmer; if you haul adults and flat-packs, maybe look bigger.
