The Mazda CX-9 Azami’s cabin is the posh end of family hauling—Nappa leather, soft-touch surfaces, and trim that looks more designer suit than school run. You get a quiet, well-insulated space with a large central display, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and a punchy 12-speaker Bose system for those Sunday arvo playlists. The 7-seat layout is generous in row two, while the third row is fine for kids or limber adults who don’t mind practising yoga. Tri-zone climate control and a crisp head-up display keep family and driver happy without shouting about it. If you want proper armchairs in the second row, the Azami LE variant swaps the bench for captain’s chairs. In short, it feels premium without being shouty—like a good flat white done properly.
