mercedes baby g wagon Page 2

Ah, the "baby G Wagon," a cheeky nickname for the Mercedes-Benz GLA or the smaller GLB, trying desperately to mimic the iconic G-Class's rugged charm in a more city-friendly size. Expect a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine pumping out around 150-225 kW depending on the variant, paired with a smooth 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. Prices start from roughly $55,000 AUD new, with used models trickling down to about $35,000 AUD, making it more palatable than its burly elder sibling.

It’s nimble, stylish, and packed with tech, but don’t expect off-road dominance — it’s more about urban swagger than conquering the Outback. For shopping, try CarShowroom for new models or Tradingpost for used ones. Always check official Mercedes-Benz Australia specs for the nitty-gritty.
