mercedes e350 review Page 274

The Mercedes E350 is a classy cruiser that toes the line between executive comfort and mild sportiness. It typically boasts a 3.5-litre V6 engine producing around 225 kW, paired with a smooth 7-speed automatic transmission. Inside, it spoils you with leather seats, advanced infotainment, and a cabin that whispers rather than shouts luxury. However, beware the wallet bleed: new models can cost upward of AUD 90,000, while used ones vary widely depending on age and condition.

Common grumbles include:

• Costly maintenance and parts
• Occasional electronic glitches
• Fuel consumption that's more thirsty than frugal
