Inside the 2020 MG3 you get cheerful simplicity rather than champagne luxury, which is exactly the point. The cabin is packed with hard-wearing plastics, clear dials, and a straightforward dash layout that’s easy to live with. Front space is decent, the rear is fine for kids or shorter adults, and there’s enough cabin storage for the daily odds and ends. You do get a touchscreen with Bluetooth and phone mirroring, but the feature list is more “budget hero” than “tech palace.” Seat support is acceptable for city runs, less so for grand tours; road noise can creep in on coarse-chip bitumen. If you want plush materials and fancy safety toys, you’ll need a pricier badge—and possibly a sturdier wallet.
