mg4 battery Page 17

The MG4 electric hatchback comes equipped with a 51 kWh or 64 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, depending on the variant. This battery offers an estimated range of up to 450 kilometres on a single charge under ideal conditions, quite respectable for city zipping and suburban jaunts in Australia. Charging times vary, but using a fast charger, you can expect to replenish about 80% in around 35 minutes. Prices for replacement batteries are not officially published, but expect a hefty bill potentially running into several thousand AUD. For second-hand models or battery health checks, sites like Tradingpost and CarShowroom might give you a hint of market conditions and battery wear. Always consult the official MG documentation for the latest specs and warranty info.
