The MG4 Excite is the budget-friendly EV that makes petrol bowsers look like museum pieces.

In Australia, the Excite 51 is typically from about $39k–$42k before on-roads, while the Excite 64 sits roughly $45k–$47k before on-roads.

Drive-away totals usually land in the low-to-mid $40ks for the 51 and up to around the $50k mark for the 64, depending on state fees and options.

On the used market, expect mid‑$30ks to low‑$40ks for 2023–24 cars with sensible kilometres.

Prices shift with promos and stock, so keep an eye on inventory deals—and yes, check the fine print before you start naming the car.
