mg4 one pedal driving Page 2

One‑pedal driving is when lifting off the accelerator triggers strong regenerative braking, often slowing an EV to a stop without you tickling the brake. In the MG4, you can adjust regen levels, and some software versions include a “one‑pedal” style mode; whether it fully holds at a standstill can depend on settings and updates. Either way, use the brake for hard stops or hill holds—gravity didn’t sign the user manual. On a test drive, dive into the Driving/Regeneration settings and sample each mode; your right ankle will quickly vote for its favourite.
