mg zs review australia 2023 Page 2

The 2023 MG ZS is the budget-savvy small SUV that parks its elbows on the table and asks for seconds.

It’s roomy for the price, the ride is civil around town, and the 7-year warranty sweetens the cheap-and-cheerful recipe.

The base 1.5-litre petrol feels more enthusiastic than fast, and the cabin plastics are tougher than posh, but the infotainment and Apple/Android bits are fine once you poke around the menus.

Running costs are friendly, though resale won’t frighten a Swiss banker; if you want more grunt, the ZST turbo or the ZS EV lift the game (and the price).

In short: value first, thrills later—perfect for commuting, school runs, and the occasional Bunnings run with room to spare.
