Curious how far the MINI Electric goes before it needs a cuppa? The outgoing MINI Cooper SE (2019–2023) uses a ~28.9 kWh usable battery for about ~230 km WLTP (real-world often ~180–220 km, wheel size and weather depending). The new 2024 MINI Cooper Electric comes in two flavours: E with a ~40.7 kWh pack and ~305 km WLTP, and SE with a ~54.2 kWh pack and ~402 km WLTP. It’s happier in the city than blasting across the Nullarbor, as highway speeds nibble at the range. Aussie trims and options can nudge the numbers, but that’s the ballpark. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
