mini servicing costs australia Page 6

MINI servicing in Australia isn’t pennies-in-the-ashtray cheap, but it needn’t be ruinous either. Routine logbook services are typically $350–$600 at a good independent or $500–$900 at a dealer; a major 60–80k service (plugs, filters, fluids) lands around $800–$1,400. Brakes can be $400–$900 per axle, and tyres often run $180–$350 each depending on size. Newer cars with prepaid service or warranty tend to cost less per year; older, out‑of‑warranty MINIs can stack bills if maintenance has been deferred. Use a MINI-savvy independent, stick to 12‑month/15,000 km intervals, and budget a little extra for wear items. It’s not pocket change, but it’s cheaper than letting the dash light nag you into mechanical melodrama.
