mitsubishi mode ac remote symbols meaning

Your Mitsubishi AC remote looks like a tiny UFO cockpit? Here’s the cheat sheet before you press the button that summons a cyclone.

• Mode icons: snowflake = Cool, sun = Heat, raindrop = Dry/Dehumidify, fan = Fan-only, “AUTO” = Auto mode.
• Airflow: sweeping arrows or a louvre icon toggles Swing; a fan with bars changes Fan speed; a big “POWER/TURBO” means maximum puff.
• Comfort/efficiency: leaf = Eco, moon/ZZZ = Sleep, thermometer = Temperature set, clock = Timer; a house with waves is usually i‑Save/Favourite.

If you see a defrost icon on a heat pump, the unit is busy de-icing itself—patience, not panic. Models vary, so check your exact remote’s manual or the sticker under the battery cover for the fine print.
