mitsubishi outlander exceed 2023 review Page 5

The 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Exceed is the school‑run hero that thinks it’s a mini luxury SUV. Its 2.5‑litre petrol four and CVT won’t set your hair on fire, but they’re smooth enough, and AWD keeps things tidy when it buckets down. The cabin feels properly upmarket for the badge, with plush trim, a big screen with wireless Apple CarPlay (Android Auto is wired), and enough safety tech to make a helicopter jealous. Ride can turn a bit firm on those big wheels, and the third row is an occasional‑use jump seat rather than genuine adult seating. Economy is decent for the size, and road noise is well suppressed unless the coarse‑chip bitumen starts shouting. If you want space, comfort and fuss‑free family transport without premium pricing, this Exceed spec nails the brief better than you’d expect.
