In Australia the Subaru WRX comes in two body styles: a sedan and the WRX Sportswagon, so you can haul kids or corners—or both.

Trim names change with the year, but the pattern is familiar: a well-equipped base, a cushier mid-spec, and a sportier variant with nicer seats, adaptive trickery and extra toys.

The current generation has retired the full-fat STI badge here, so there’s no new factory STI on showroom floors.

All mainstream versions pair a turbo flat-four with all-wheel drive, plus either a manual or a CVT depending on spec; check Subaru Australia’s current brochure or Tradingpost listings for the exact badges this year.
