moree spring baths Page 1481

Moree’s artesian spring baths are the road‑trip reward you promise yourself somewhere past the third road train: geothermal mineral pools fed by the Great Artesian Basin.

Expect steamy water around 39–41°C, a laid‑back country pace, and locals who’ll swear it fixes everything except your parallel parking.

The Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre offers multiple hot pools plus lanes if you feel the need to earn your soak.

Roll off the Newell, have a long dunk, and you’ll be looser than a sausage roll at smoko.
