The MV 175 CST was first released in 1956 at the Milan Motorsalone motor show. The CST was MV’s first 175cc creation to carry a 4-speed gearbox and chain-driven single overhead cam valvetrain with helical valve springs. Rated at 8 HP, the CST was the first 4-stroke engine to go into volume production.

Approximately 6,000 examples were built over the motorcycle’s three-year production, making this edition one of the last produced. Located in Italy and part of a very large private collection that is being sold, this bike will require only basic recommissioning before riding. It retains its original Ital Ministry papers, original number plate.
