Australia doesn’t really do “MSRP” for the Honda HR‑V—Honda uses fixed drive‑away pricing, so haggling is about as useful as a chocolate sunroof.

As a guide, new HR‑V pricing typically sits around the mid‑$30k drive‑away for the petrol Vi X and high‑$40k drive‑away for the e:HEV L hybrid, varying slightly by state and promotions.

Used HR‑Vs range roughly from about $15k to $30k for the previous generation, with near‑new current‑gen cars often $30k–$45k+ depending on kilometres and condition.

If your budget’s tight, keep an eye on Tradingpost and dealer demos—prices wobble, but the HR‑V rarely does.
