musso review 2023 Page 2

The 2023 SsangYong Musso is the ute you recommend when your mate wants tough without the ego tax. Its 2.2‑litre turbo‑diesel hums along happily, the six‑speed auto plays nice, and it’ll tow a brawny 3,500 kg while looking like it means it. Unladen ride can fidget on rough Aussie chip seal, but throw a load in the tub and it settles like a dog after walkies. Steering is light and honest, more Bunnings run than Baja.

Inside, it’s practical rather than posh: clear controls, decent tech with smartphone mirroring, and enough rear space for actual humans. The killer blow is value and a generous 7‑year warranty, which makes the big-name rivals look a bit precious. If you’re shopping, check Tradingpost for listings that won’t mug your wallet.
