new gen triton specs Page 2

The new‑gen Mitsubishi Triton looks like it’s been bench‑pressing bull bars: a tougher chassis, a 2.4‑litre turbo‑diesel with about 150 kW and 470 Nm, and a choice of 6‑speed manual or 6‑speed auto. Braked towing is up to 3,500 kg with payload around ~1,000 kg (variant‑dependent), and Super Select II 4x4 with a rear diff lock features on higher grades. Expect improved cabin space, modern driver assists (AEB, lane support) and more rigid underpinnings versus the old model; official economy lands around the mid‑8 L/100 km mark. Dimensions, clearances and GVM vary by trim, as do wheel/tyre packages and tray setups. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
