Nissan’s “new” badge arrived in 2020: a slimmer, flatter logo that keeps the horizontal bar and circle motif, but ditches the chunky chrome for a modern, 2D look. It debuted on the Ariya and has been rolling across fresh models and dealership signage ever since. On some EVs the badge can be illuminated, while on steering wheels and wheel caps it’s a clean, non-illuminated print. In short, same heritage, fewer shiny bits, and a lot easier to render on screens without looking like a melted hubcap.
