The Thrifty Newcastle 500 kicked off Supercars’ Gen3 era on 10–12 March 2023 around the city’s foreshore and beachside streets.

Friday was practice; Saturday delivered qualifying, a Top Ten Shootout, and a ~250 km race; Sunday repeated quali/Shootout before the second ~250 km race.
