newest xbox 2023

In 2023 the newest Xbox wasn’t a whole new generation, it was still the Xbox Series X and Series S duo—just with a wardrobe update. Microsoft rolled out the Series S 1TB in Carbon Black, which is essentially the compact console with more storage and a moodier paint job. If you want raw grunt, the Series X remains the big dog; if you prefer small, quiet, and cheaper, the Series S does the job nicely. Rumoured refreshes were just that—rumours—so in 2023 your choice was between power and practicality, with the Carbon Black S sitting neatly in the middle. Pick based on display (4K vs 1080p/1440p) and storage needs, then go play instead of reading spec sheets like bedtime stories.
