The next‑gen Ford Ranger will happily tow like it means it: most variants are rated to 3,500 kg braked and 750 kg unbraked.

The exception is the Ranger Raptor, which is lower at 2,500 kg braked—because go-fast shocks prefer corners to caravans.

Fit the factory tow pack and an electric trailer brake controller, and mind payload/GCM once the esky, kids and dog all pile in.
