nissan airbag recall Page 9

“Nissan airbag recall” usually means the Takata inflators, which can rupture and fire shrapnel—hard pass on that, thanks. Many Nissan models sold in Australia from the early 2000s to mid-2010s were affected, and some carry urgent “do not drive” warnings. To check yours, grab your VIN and use Nissan Australia’s recall lookup or the Product Safety Australia database, then follow the instructions. If you’re listed, the fix is free, typically quick, and dealers can prioritise urgent cases (some offer mobile repair or towing). Until it’s done, minimise use, keep passengers out of the front seat, and book the repair immediately.
