nissan xtrail 2023 review Page 2

The 2023 Nissan X‑Trail finally feels grown‑up: cleaner looks outside and a far nicer cabin with family‑friendly storage sprinkled everywhere.

The 2.5‑litre petrol is adequate rather than exciting, while the e‑POWER hybrid feels smoother and punchier in traffic, and the e‑4ORCE all‑wheel grip is impressively fuss‑free.

Ride and refinement are solid for the school run and the highway, and there’s a sliding rear bench plus decent cargo space; some petrol grades offer seven seats, but hybrids are five‑seat only.

Economy is middling in the petrol and meaningfully better in the hybrid, though boot volume and tow limits vary by variant.

Pricing in Australia generally spans from the high‑$30Ks to the high‑$50Ks AUD drive‑away depending on trim and options, with used 2023 cars already dipping into the mid‑$30Ks to mid‑$40Ks AUD.

Warranty is 5 years/unlimited km and servicing is straightforward; not the most thrilling SUV, but it’s comfortably competent where it counts.
