For a family chariot, the Skoda Octavia wagon’s boot is comically capacious.
Seats up you get about 640 L (VDA), and with the rear seats folded it swells to around 1,700 L.
The load bay is long, low, and square, with a handy low sill, and many cars add nets, hooks, and a reversible mat because someone at Skoda actually does groceries.
Note that a spare wheel or subwoofer can nibble a few litres, but the difference in the real world is negligible.
In short: prams, dogs, camping gear—bring the lot; just don’t forget where you parked it under all the luggage. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
