Short answer: there isn’t an official “odometer check NSW app”.
The Service NSW app’s Rego Check will confirm registration, CTP and alerts, but it doesn’t verify kilometres.
For confidence on a car’s mileage, cross-check the service logbook and invoices, eSafety (pink slip) reports, and any inspection receipts—dates and km should climb sensibly.
Run a PPSR check to uncover write-offs, finance or theft; then consider third-party history reports that compile past advertised or recorded readings (useful, not gospel).
Finally, get a pre-purchase inspection and sanity-check wear items—pedals, seat bolsters, steering wheel—against the claimed km; mismatches are a siren and a foghorn.
