order new number plates qld Page 6

Need new number plates in Queensland? Start by deciding whether you want standard replacements or something flash and personalised.

For standard plates (lost, stolen, or mangled by a careless bollard), lodge it with Transport and Main Roads online or at a Customer Service Centre; if they were stolen, file a police report first.

For personalised plates, order through PPQ; pick your combo, pay the fee, and wait for the postie rather than loitering by the letterbox like an overcaffeinated meerkat.

Have your ID and rego details handy, and be ready to surrender old plates when the new ones arrive; turnaround is typically a couple of weeks.

Fit them securely and legally—front and rear, clearly visible, no arts-and-crafts fonts—and you’re off.
